There are some injection related reactions which may occur after any injection including redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising or tenderness at the injection site. After lip enhancement, some swelling is likely for a short period. We use local anaesthetic creams prior to treatment which will ease any short term discomfort.

Dermal Filler procedures are minimally invasive and take less than 15 minutes. They are frequently done on the same day as the consultation. The procedure is minimally invasive and doesn’t need much preparation. Avoid medication like aspirin, ibuprofen, and St. John’s wort as well as alcohol or smoking prior to your consultation. By avoiding these things it will help prevent bruising. Let your doctor know of any allergies or sensitivities. For those with extra sensitive skin, we can use local anaesthetic creams which are applied 30 minutes or so prior to treatment.
